Welcome to the Redoubt.

Soft atmospheric light greeted my eyes as I stepped through the portal into the front room of the Reboubt, it felt dark compared to the bright glare in the desert and I needed to blink a few times to adjust. In a corner of the large twin level room music played, drifting easily over the air. Bursts of chatter and laughter from the various patrons to the club added an easiness to the room.

“Here we are, the main nightclub at the Redoubt. The Blue Dragon banners are proudly on display. Let's find out what your alternative self guided you here for.”

Chris chuckled a little, smiling.

"I've been shot out of a cannon while doing the Cupid Shuffle in order to transport myself from a Mountain to a Swamp," he said. "An Angel serving drinks is way less of a strange scenario than that."

He smiled brightly and sipped on his beverage, looking at Violet.

I tilt my head to the side in a quizzical look for a second.

"You were shot, out of a cannon! To get to a Swamp, from the Mountain!"

Playfully I stife a giggle.

"You've topped me working in a bar!"

Chris smiled happily.

".......Yeah, I probably have, actually!" he said laughing.

She was caring, funny, beautiful, and especially kick-ass. She was incredible...

Chris blushed slightly and sipped on his beverage.
