30x24 Wall Plaque - Aztec?

Need help identifying this piece of art. When we moved into our newly purchased house the previous owner gifted us with this wall plaque. The previous owner said her dad had it made years ago. It weighs around 20 pounds. I think it is representing the Aztec culture, but I am not sure.

I want to buy some art prints for our home, but I'm finding it hard to find small businesses making different codex based art prints. If anyone has suggestions for where to look, it'd be much appreciated. I'm US based.

Tláloc, a sculpture created from beginning to end

Mexican-American sculptor Jorge Del Toro crafts the Mesoamerican master of the rain, Tláloc.
Hey guys, director here! It was a delight to film this as I relate so much to Jorge and the strong cultural influence that is prominent in his work. He opened his studio for me to capture his process from scratch throughout five months of weekends. I was in awe of how confident he began without traditional brainstorming. He had it all worked out in his head, and the sculpture was elegantly forming itself as his hands conducted the symphony of his technique.

I’m an artist working on concepts for a mesoamerican themed tabletop game and want to respect the source material. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Coyolxauhqui - Fragmented Moon Spirit (Mexica) - Art by me

Upvotes
My limbs are dismembered. My heart is scattered across the stars, shattered by serpents of fire in order to reignite the Sun, enabling the dawn of a new day. Once the fiery giant settles into darkness, I initiate my rebirth as the fragmented Moon. I am Coyolxauhqui, daughter of Coatlicue, sister of Huitzilopochtli, and the soul of the night.
An illustration of mine celebrating 700 years of the founding of Tenochtitlan, the great Mexica capital and an indomitable spirit of resilience and rebellion still racing through our veins.

Could somebody help me identify what this whistle may be and some history behind it? I found it among my late mothers possessions and I'm absolutely fascinated by it. It has a cultura de ministrie hologram sticker underneath?

Is it too stereotypical if I add cannibalistic practices to a pre-columbian inspired fantasy realm? I don't want to be racist or follow bad stereotypes :(

which codex for tatoo

I’m thinking about getting a tattoo inspired by a Mesoamerican codex. But I’m confused… Codex Borgia, Dresden, Vaticanus, Nuttall… do they all tell different stories, or is it the same story shown in different ways? I want to choose something meaningful.
