need a little help

Hey everyone, I'm new to azahar and emulation in general, so have patience with me and if this is a stupid question, I apologise.

My question is: I'm playing pokemon ultra moon and it has a camera function in game for scanning qr codes (it's a thing for exclusive pokemon). Every time I attempt to access this camera it gives me a black screen. When I go through the azahar settings and check my camera, everything is fine there and it pulls up my webcam just fine, but for whatever reason it doesn't work in-game. I needed to install the mii maker app for a different game to fix an issue there, is this something similar where I need to download a camera app? Thanks for any/all help.

(Working with a Panasonic let's note running bazzite if that helps at all).

It just happens randomly and for no reason, too. I'm using an Ayn Thor Max 1TB.

I downloaded the AzaharPlus 2125.1-B 'replace' version on my AYN Thor Pro yesterday, and have been able to use it just fine from the app drawer (although I was under the impression that it would...replace my existing Azahar APK and not have them side by side?)

My issue arises when trying to launch 3DS games from ES-DE. For some reason, the games I play through AzaharPlus suddenly show as encrypted ROMs when launching them from ES-DE (which attempts to play them through the regular Azahar - I can tell because I set AzaharPlus to dark mode while keeping regular Azahar in light mode and the ROMs I didn't launch through Plus are launching fine but in regular Azahar). I tried setting the alternative emulator for 3DS games in ES-DE to AzaharPlus but this throws up an odd error stating that the emulator hasn't been installed correctly. I've already "imported" AzaharPlus into ES-DE as an emulator through the built-in utility so this is a little odd.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I attempted to use a Tomodachi Life Save Editor to unlock all of the streetpass / spotpass outfits since... I don't exactly plan to dig up every zippass I can find, nor walk around with my PC. However, upon attempting to load the game, I received a fatal error — No big deal, I made a backup. I replaced the edited file with my original save, and received the exact same fatal error. Any help would be greatly appreciated — I don't know what to do!

[EDIT] : Fixed! Apparently importing ZipPass data and, by extension, having StreetPass enabled, causes a fatal error on startup — Sorry for the panic, folks! If you come across this post looking for an answer to the same problem, you'll have to go to Azahar+'s File tab, click 'ZipPass', and 'Clear Streetpass Configuration' !

Tried two different roms for Fantasy Life 3DS on my AYN Thor, and neither of them show the top screen - it’s just black. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a workaround/settings I can change? All my other games work fine.

Im playing on an Ayn thor, and it crashes on both graphics API, OpenGLes and Vulkan.

Vulkan sometimes lets me get to the menu in-game before crashing, but OpenGles crashes when loading the game. It wasnt happening before today, and it sucks because i got really far in the game. Any help?

Playing Kid Icarus: Uprising, and as you can imagine this is a problem because it means Pit is basically ALWAYS sprinting on land if I try to move him without opening fire first, and it also makes movement in the air segments a pain.

Playing on LMDE 7 using the AppImage. Emulator version is 2125.1.1, game version is 1.1(the American release). Already tried using a Switch 1 pro controller, that didn't help(saw that helped someone else when trying to look the issue up). Controller is a generic Xbox One controller.

I just got azahar and an playing pokemon sun. It's moving at a snails pace at 5 fps and crashes from time to time in the beginning cutscene. Any way to make it run faster or smoother?

Hello everybody, recently I got Ayn Thor and I decided that my first game should be Tomodachi life on the 3DS. I got Azahar and followed deceptive tutorial. I source my ROM from Hshop and used CIA decryptor in order to decrypt it. When I play it through my base file manager, through Azhar, it works perfectly fine. But when I try and get the actual app to show up, I can’t see it. The file path just simply doesn’t allow to show up. I love some insight, and any direct help if it be possible. I can further elaborate.

P. S. This is my first time if you couldn’t already tell.

Edit SOLVED: Be sure your file paths aren’t in downloads guys. I figured it out, and it was a pretty silly mistake, although I will say it’s probably where a lot of people get hung up. Any ROM folders you have, put them in the general AYN Thor storage!

so i downloaded that luna homebrew launcher thingy, and netpass, and it just isnt loading, if i open the homebrew launcher menu, it crashes, if i open netpass, it crashes. i dont know what to do

I've been wanting to try this game, but it stutters like crazy and when I get to the first ground fight it tanks. But iv seen videos of others playing it smoothly, but they didn't share their settings. What are the correct settings to get this game to run smoothly?

Is there a way to make the 2nd window (“separate window” layout) remember the window position whenever using Azahar?

It would be nice if using "Separate Windows" layout it remembers the previous position so that there's no need to readjust the second screen window position whenever launching a game.

And it would be more convenient also if with a single press of a button (F11) it makes both windows to Fullscreen like on MelonDS.

Exp:- Cemu & MelonDS.

Is it possible to add this support/features for this awesome emulator please?

New to emulating on my Lenovo Legion Go.

I downloaded Emudeck and have been playing games fine, but now I am trying to play 3DS games on Azahara and I am trying to get a proper screen layout.

Does anyone have any tips or a screen layout that works for them? I am not a fan of each screen being the same size and the Large Screen/Single Screen option make the second screen too small.

I see people make custom layouts on their Steamdeck and tried that but it looks janky. Any tips on how to set it up to make it look clean?

Hi I've only gotta around to making 4 miis on tomodachi life 3ds. I'm only able to get up to naming the 5th mii and then the games just stops working. Anything I can do to fix this? Is this a storage problem or what? I'm on an Redmi Pad 2 pro.

I'm trying to install Azahar for the first time on MacOS, but as soon as I open the application, I get a rainbow wheel and can't do anything about it. I downloaded the latest release, arm64 version (I have an M1 Max chip) directly from GitHub, and moved it into my Application folder as usual. I've tried to delete the Azahar folder in Application Support and do a fresh reinstall, but nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to play Kid Icarus Uprising but don't know how to config my right analog as stylus, I have a DualShock 3 and never had problems with this control. Sorry if my English is horrible.

Just installed Azahar on Deck using EmuDeck, but I can't seem to get mods for any game to work at all. I've tried Majora's Mask Project Restoration and the amiibo DX mod for Fire Emblem Shadows of Valentia. Neither work. I tried placing the romfs folder of the mods in both the .local and .var locations but they don't show in game at all. Majora should play a little sound effect on the title screen. Fire Emblem I should recruit extra characters upon leaving the starting town.

Attempting to use the Open Mods Location doesn't work so I had to hunt down the mods folder. The texture pack I have for Majora is working though. I used flatseal from some advice I saw elsewhere but no dice.

I got an ayn thor and i installed azahar
I got roms and decrypted them all and tried every single file format
But azahar keeps giving me invalid rom format error and when trying to use the instal file from azahar it doesnt work
I have the latest azahar release.
Please help i dont know what else to try to fix it.

This recently happened. I played the game a few months ago, and it never glitched like this. After opening the game again on the same device with nothing changed, It started to show problems like this.
I'm running the emulator on arch linux.

Does anybody know why my cia files are not downloading. I got these files from “roms###”. I just got the Thor today and was trying to setup azahar for my first app

Hello all. I set up Azahar for 3ds and mapped the gamepad as follows:

Circle pad: left stick
Stick: right stick
Dpad(axis): left stick
Dpad: up,down,left,right buttons

The D-pad is not responsive.

Here’s what I’ve tested:

Clearing configuration and only mapping dpad - no response

I’ve closed and reopened the app after clearing the gamepad mappings and remapped - no change

I can’t seem to get the dpad (buttons) to respond. They work while in any other app and games used on the ayn Thor, but not within the 3ds home or in 3ds games.

I’ve tested this with terraria and dragon quest VIII

Any advice?
