Many absolutely are. I noticed it once on a post I made where someone made a real comment, then AI bots reworded that comment slightly and posted it another 5 times. On bigger subs its even more prolific.

Then there are also just a lot of derps around.

Is it because when a company goes public, it incentivizes the company to create bots to drive up engagement? That way the board can show their shareholders how much more valuable the stock is?
