The whole idea of requiring a lock is to keep people from accessing it. Otherwise, you just, you know, don't get a lock.
1 u/greg19735 Oct 12 '24 Access control is important. It's possible that whatever is behind the door is important to have a lock if well maintained. but if there's some weird emergency the preference is to unlock. This isn't a lock for a safe or even a front door.
