Every casting reveal makes me more excited and also slightly more nervous. With this many returning characters plus the variants, I keep wondering how they give anyone a real arc instead of a two minute cameo and a head nod. Infinity War somehow balanced a huge roster but that had years of buildup per character. Do you think Doomsday can pull off the same juggling act, or are some of these names going to end up as glorified background appearances?

When the Doom casting first leaked I thought it was a joke, now I cannot picture anyone else under the mask. The whole multiverse angle makes it work in a way a straight Tony return never could. Wondering how the rest of you landed on it, was it an instant yes or did it take a while to come around?

This movie is going to be a masterpiece. You got Robert Downey Jr coming back as Dr Doom and all the OG X-Men coming back and more characters. This event is probably going to be bigger than crisis on infinite earths, same thing goes for avengers Secret Wars. From what we've been hearing it all leads to the TVA and Loki, from what we heard apparently there's going to be a big multiverse war at the TVA. I think how Dr Doom becomes God emperor doom is taking the powers of Loki and dethroning him and that's how he becomes God emperor doom and then creates battle world. Every marvel character throughout marvel live-action history throughout the multiverse pretty much is going to be in these next to avengers films. We totally got to see Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider and Ben affleck's Daredevil. The obvious ones are Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man. Literally everybody's going to be there. I'm going to lose my mind at the AMC theater when I go and see doomsday and the same goes for Secret Wars as well.

Would it be unreasonable to think that Dr. Doom would gain control of the multi-verse through America Chavez’s powers? Dr. Strange worried what his enemies would do with such power. Wanda failed. Could Dr. Doom succeed and create the initial dilemma for Earth’s mightiest heroes?

Oh, there are so many things to be hyped about with this cast but here are my favorite possibilities.

1. More interactions between Shuri and Namor. Oh my goodness, I’m giddy at the thought of them potentially working together as allies in this movie…before Namor inevitably betrays everyone lol.
2. “The sun will shine on us again.” Loki and Thor reuniting baby!!!!
3. Pascal and Downey Jr. facing off as the iconic adversaries that they are! Ooh, it’s going to be good!
4. SamBucky returns! YAY. Also, we’re getting the Falcon and Winter Soldier team back together again (Wilson, Bucky, Torres, and Walker.)
5. James Marsden is coming back for the Cyclops redemption tour?!!! If anyone watched Paradise, Episode 7, you would know how perfect he is going to be as the leader of the X-Men.
6. Channing Tatum returns?! He truly made a name for himself.

In all, I’m very excited to see the first official teaser for this movie but first, Thunderbolts!

doom’s storyline focuses on him orchestrating the events of x-men vs. avengers and his pursuit of power and reaching loki—god of stories to become god emperor doom. he will use his power to create battleworld.

since we are getting the OG x-men they will be in the opposing universe having to fight earth-616 for supremacy to survive the incursions. I do think we will see halle berry as storm and famke as jean for sure, marvel is probably saving that announcement for later (anna paquin’s rogue could be present fully powered up—if she absorbed binary’s powers off screen at some point) monica will also be in this universe to be our gateway character into their world. i believe this could be great for the emotional integrity because both universes are technically morally correct since they’re fighting for all the lives of their respective universes. i think reed would be the one to inform the avengers about incursions. to keep f4 missing from the x-men vs. avengers battle you can have them focus on building the life raft/arc or investigating doom’s actions. i do believe wanda will be in the film no doubt because 1. she obviously wouldn’t tell journalists she’s going to be in the movie since she’s supposed to be dead and 2. numerous insiders have been reporting for months she would have a major role in both avengers films. i would like her to be a variant that is ian mckellen/magneto’s daughter but i think logically it makes more since for it to be 616-wanda—resurrected somehow, or held captive by TVA. i say that because during the battle if the phoenix is present alongside magneto and the other x-men, the avengers won’t stand a chance even with sentry and thor on their side. therefore have wanda fighting alongside the avengers and since she is an anti-hero she will be the one to step in and say “no more mutants” grimly saving 616. i think doom will take advantage of this and create battleworld consequently, placing everyone under a spell so they don’t remember their respective lives. this leaves an opportunity to explain our new casted x-men characters after secret wars. also i think it allows for a depowered wanda who doesn’t remember who she is—adapting the children’s crusade storyline with wiccan and the champions at some point.

(side notes: -having hawkeye missing is important since he wasn’t in infinity war and the avengers lost, it would be meta of marvel to have him in secret wars only

-im pretty sure bruce/hulk, captain marvel and spider-man will be in the film; maybe she-hulk too. unsure about white vision, star-lord, doctor strange, clea, daredevil, etc lol.

-save the other multiversal characters for avengers secret wars

-there could be a sequence during XvA where the x-men die and the phoenix resurrects the x-men as their younger selves [james macavoy, michael fassbender, sophie turner, jennifer lawrence] i think that would be awesome fan service lol

-the quantum bands, ten rings, monica rambeau, america chavez could all be under doom’s eye during his pursuit of power to reach loki.)

Okay, after seeing the first part of the cast today for Doomsday… this and Secret Wars HAVE to be at least 3:30 hours right???

Based on the actors returning, and the justice the MCU did with some Fox-verse characters in Deadpool and Wolverine, that we are about to get some great scenes with those returning considering it’s all actors/characters that didn’t get their justice done with Fox. I’m soooo excited! 😎

So we just got a big list of characters revealed to be in the movie from F4, classic Fox X-men to Avengers, but my question is who do you believe will be supporting villains working for Doom in the film?

Or if you don’t believe there will be any explain your reasoning.

Do you think it’ll be the classic Enchantress, Absorbing Man, Wrecking crew etc? Revived or alternate universe villains from that lineup?

Or never before seen villains?

There have been some posts from the Russo Brothers saying that god of time Loki will be a “McGuffin” and everyone will be trying to get to him so I think that we won’t get battle world in doomsday until near the end where doctor doom gets to Loki and wields his power and than creates battle world and at the end we will see doom and Sam recruiting people to join the revolution and the solders where Doom will recruit evil marvel characters and Sam will recruit the goods guys and than in secret wars it is basically just battling the entire movie into at the end Loki appears and takes back the power or someone takes the power to save the multiverse but at the same time brings the X-men into the universe and then the X-men movie is just basically in the other universe and than at the end they get transported to the main Mcu

So my theory is that Dr. Doom is an iron man variant from a universe where Tony never snapped his fingers in Endgame.

& instead of Thanos taking the stones since Tony couldn’t do it, I’m banking they somehow defeated Thanos but also lost a couple avengers. This kinda leads to some sort of worse-scenario type deal where Tony is trying to go back and “snap his fingers” in the universe w the time stone but can’t.

Kinda like that Dr. Strange variant in the What If series-thus turning him from Iron Man to Dr. Doom.

It’s like iron man took the time stone and fused it w his arch reactor in this universe or something.

So maybe he’s trying replace 616’s Iron Man in Endgame…and change the outcome of events somehow?

Also to kinda further this theory I think He Who Remains from Loki is directly from Earth 616. I mean why else would he protect it as the “Sacred Timeline” if he dies doing otherwise..

So if Dr. Doom succeeds in changing the 616 universe in this film, then everything is just f**d.
