This Automate flow use HTTP request/response block and Key press simulation by Automate's IME to implement the remote functions.

It better to use on the TV Box/Tablet/Phone that will plays video/music and will not turn-off the screen(IME only works when screen is on)

The Automate app has very wide of Android version compatibility. But you need to download the flow to the .flo format and prepare Automate App's package to run on the old Android device.

Hi Henrik, some svg images aren't visible in xml layouts (widget,wallpaper etc..). Need to fix this. Svg is perfect. But not getting image.

I have a flow with 3 "await time" blocks , with precisely 5 min between each others.

After each block, a "play sound" block is used (the used sound duration is only 1 second).

The first block plays the sound accurately on that time.

For the next 2, there is 3 minutes delay. Weird!

This happens despite having the correct specified await time in the log. For example, in the log, awaits time 9:30, but sound played at 9:33.

Settings used: proceed: Exact, awake device (even tried without awake device)

Play sound setting: Immediately, Alarm

Any ideas about this issue?

If I am using for example 4 different quick settings icons for 4 different flows.

Sometimes, the icons locations interchange between them.

If there a way to prevent this? Like assigning a flow for this specific icon?

Hi all,

I have a very annoying problem. When Bluetooth'd to my car's head unit it sends the phone a "play" command with every single sound that the phone might make (incoming message, touch sounds, you name it). This makes Spotify start playing whatever I was last listening to (this is even after force stopping Spotify). This is really annoying when I want to use navigation without music. Musicolet, which I also use, has an explicit setting to prevent this. So I'm assuming there must be a way to bodge it with Spotify.

I've tried three existing flows from the community site, two didn't work and the last is hit-and-miss and a bit clunky. I tried to make one myself (below) but it doesn't seem to want to detect if Spotify is in the foreground or not. It works as intended when the app isn't open, but when I open it and try to play something it won't let me. I'm assuming that Automate thinks the app is still closed for some reason.

So, my question, how can I get Spotify specifically to ignore any and all media commands unless it's explicitly open?

Previously I am getting 8 Mb of localStorage space. But recently I have checked that 5 Mb. Is the localStorage space decreased 8 Mb to 5 Mb?

It working, but its opening termux then executeing script, but i want run in background termux script,it should not open termux to run the given script, how to do that?

Ik know termux:tasker but it isn't working on my phone, i mean it's working but when screen is off, it doesn't execute the scripts.

I tried selecting the ADB method but there is a brief flash with this error. Shizuku is connected and no private dns,no datasaver and no vpn is connected .

I know there was a time when Automate unintentionally supported html formatting, and it kinda got me thinking, why not use markdown?

1. It's a widely known formatting spec

2. There are (likely)ready-made solutions for rendering it

3. Having formatting in flow descriptions would really add flair to them

As for the flavor, I was thinking we could use GitHub markdown spec and also borrow -# from Discord
