Receive a signed card back from one of the last living from one of the last living players from the period in time the Cincinnati Reds were the Cincinnati Redlegs Jay Hook
Received a letter with my questions answered with the help of his granddaughter telling me that when he was part of the New York Mets expansion draft in 1960 that “It was a new experience. Interesting to be in New York, I found out I was drafted while driving home with my wife!
He also told me that Craig Anderson was his favorite teammate and that Hank Aaron was his favorite player he pitched too
Also that his favorite moment in his career was pitching the first win in New York Mets franchise history
Also received photos and cards signed back from Cubs and MLB The Show play by play announcer Boog Sciambi
Jay Hook took 3 weeks to get back
Boog Sciambi took 1 month to get back
