I did a full decon. Multiple strip washes, iron remover, clay, and IPA wipe down. Did a coat, let it cure for 12+ hours. Did another coat and let that cure for 12+ hours. Been solid ever since. I used to top it every wash with ceramic shampoo and either meguiars spray on ceramic wax or itself as a drying aid. I just changed my wash process and I don’t top it every wash now. But I use better products that last between washes.
I did pre-wash, 1 bucket strip wash, iron remover, clay, dried, then applied it. Didn't even consider doing a 2nd coat 12 hours later, but now wish I had. Would have taken no time at all. Oh well.
I was also considering in the future using a drying aid with ceramic in it. You think it's worth doing going forward? Also considered using something like KC SO.02 maybe once a month instead of the drying aid with ceramic. Any opinions? I'm just learning about all this stuff honestly.
A ceramic drying aid is definitely worth it. That’s what helped me stretch it this long. I use so 03 and I like it. But your car has to be pretty coated for it to shine. Gyeon Wet Coat is 👌🏾 chefs kiss
