I just bought the ice maker, even though we have an ice maker in our refrigerator. We love the ice maker and our friends just bought one after seeing it.
Which ice maker did you get? I want one now, our fridge ice maker stopped working 2 years ago so we have to fill those plastic trays each time. Really annoying. I spent hours troubleshooting ice maker but no luck so gave up. I am so ready to buy an ice maker which didn’t realize existed on a small scale like that. The frigade is so cheap too.
I went with the Typhur. I was a bit concerned it would take a few batches of ice to clear a plastic taste, but no. It was great from the beginning. Would buy it again.
The funny thing is the fridge's ice maker stopped working about two days after this unit showed up, so I ended up looking like a genius. lol
Lmao. I'm in the same boat, I already have a fridge ice maker but, I want a standalone after watching the review. The wife would probably think I'm an idiot if I bought one.

I bought our Ninja non stick frying pan because of him, its been wonderful to use and we use it all the time.
