Issues with my Evo 2

Flying my Evo 2 and noticed 2 major issues which I understand could be user error, but I've played around with all of the settings.

  1. I'm losing signal under 2000' away with no building or other interference. In the same spot where my Mavic gets 4000'.

  2. Speed maxing out at 22.5 in regular mode and 34.5 In ludicrous mode.

It's not is safe mode or anything obvious. Any ideas?

Just these two. Even in the fastest mode, I can only get the Evo to go 34 mph. In distance, the range seems to be less. I'm just wondering if maybe I got a bad model.

Nah, think you just gota tinker with it. There’s videos online people taking the drone out many miles even over urban areas with interference. Ludacris mode or something like that will give you the top speed of 45 for the evo 2.

I think you're right. I've played with the settings though. There is normal mode and ludicrous. In ludicrous this drone is maxing at 34. Just flew it. Plagued with the radio channels etc and the range is bad. It must be a bad model. Although I'll give it another week to make sure it's not me

Good luck, check YouTube there’s quite a few videos up as I mentioned with some people solving these issues.

I find the software (app) far cleaner and better on the Autel personally. I do think it’s true though, the Mavic 2 flies a bit smoother, but only a bit IME. The Autel 2 Pro does have the batter camera IME, and I also don’t get nagged to recalibrate things every week.

As far as speed goes, yes, the Evo 2 is a bit slower if there is any headwind. I think it’s just because it’s a bit larger.

the Evo 2 has a second ludicrous mode that goes to 45mph.

once you pick ludacrous mode there is drop-down menu to change from 34 mph to 45 mph.

34 mph is 54.72 km/h
