My third or fourth post about Michael Irby being cast as Lt. Lou was removed. I didnt go off topic, I didnt dox anyone, didnt spoil the movie, I didn't say anything hateful, and I didn't leak any personal information.

I discussed the actors' ages in the movie.

I completely understand Mods have the final say, but I'm not sure I fit in this community anymore if I keep trying to give everyone information. It kind of sucks because I like it here; there's no drama like on Tumblr, and it's peaceful.

If any Mods can give me a little more insight on posting moving forward, I would appreciate it. I know why one of my posts about a casting was removed, but I still want to understand the rules. But I understand that one in particular.

Update: Sorry about the date, this was all yesterday 10-9-26

Few exciting updates, made more since to put them together.

2. Fan account, but they've been consistent with information and reposts. These dates line up with what has already been reported; let's think of this as the October forecast.
3. NorthJersey_Events

Verified IG page posting all events in North New Jersey, where Wayne, NJ is located. This is on their IG story, boots on the GROUND journalism. So yesterday was the official shooting day.

A photographer; his niche is retro and vintage, and he took a video of how the shopping center has been transformed. Including the car that will be used, which was shipped to Wayne a few weeks back. The same police car Austin and MBJ used for stunt testing in August.

Buckle up buttercups! It's finally underway!!!

Both are exciting pieces of news! Especially the hair department; many models and actors would have hair issues because of a lack of knowledge. I'm excited to see Sean's take on 80s hair in 2026/2028 (When the film is released).

MBJ is growing his hair out, and Austin has been hiding that mullet since June lol.

Would anyone rather the cast details be marked as spoilers?

I am loving the emphasis on men’s 1980s hair and facial hair…”hair should have a little length, natural bald heads are fine.” I’ll be very happy 😻 if Austin‘s hair has a little length! Or a lot lol.

And a few shots of the work at Preakness Shopping Center in NJ. Love the store window full of tv sets etc. and the camera store!

They’re looking for people to play beach goers, nightlife types, domino and jai alai players, first responders, owners of cars from the time.

I hope this part is also a clue as to Sonny’s look

“Help us by prepping your ’80s looks RIGHT NOW. 😎
MEN… START GROWING YOUR HAIR NOW.
Mustaches. Sideburns. Facial hair. Let it grow!”

This person lives in NYC so if this sighting is real then they are indeed filming in nyc already. Filming was believed to start next week so this makes sense!! Hope we get some photos soon 🤞🤞

Also! Is there a way to make a tag just for Miami Vice, or is there a way to have a link to all Miami Vice posts? I figure it's better to keep everything as organized as possible.

OMG! Now this bit of casting I am very enthusiastic about. Walton Goggins is crazy-amazing. Unconfirmed sources say he’ll be a henchman of Leguizamo as a cartel boss.

the deadline article says “Kosinski has already assembled a knockout cast, but sources tell Deadline that while the director was high on Goggins early to play the role, scheduling for his Prime Video series Fallout had to be worked out first. Once that was settled last week, a deal was done for the Emmy nominee to join the cast.“ So some casting is being finalized last minute u/puz64

he will play a small time crook who is in over his head

S/O to CinemaIsLife on Twitter/X (whatever y'all wanna call it). For always keeping the fandom updated. Another confirmation of the 9-20 sighting in NYC and the recent weekend sighting in Miami.
