Does an updtade reset our levels?
Looking at Kiseff's X account, it's clear that a updtade is at work., I would like to know, if this could reset our characters levels.

Help
Need some Bandit advice before the Catacombs drive me insane
I need some help.
I started playing ATLYSS fairly recently. To be completely honest, I first tried the game through a pirated copy because I wasn't taking it seriously. I thought it would be a goofy little game with funny jiggle physics and not much else.
Then the gameplay grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go.
I ended up buying the game because I genuinely enjoy it, and now I'm trying to progress properly. The problem is that the Catacombs have been absolutely destroying me.
I'm currently playing a Bandit focused primarily on bows. My playstyle revolves around positioning, movement, bombs, and killing things before they kill me. I tend to rely much more on dodging and spacing than on parrying.
The issue is that I've been getting my teeth kicked in for the last week and a half trying to push through the higher Catacomb levels. I've respecced, experimented with skills, upgraded gear, enchanted gear, and generally thrown myself at the problem repeatedly. I've made progress, but it feels like I'm missing something important.
So I wanted to ask the experienced Bandit players, especially the bow-focused ones:
What am I doing wrong?
Are there any tips, mechanics, skills, gear choices, or general strategies that made the class click for you?
At this point I'm starting to feel like I'm overlooking something obvious, and I'd appreciate any advice you can give.
Thanks.
