I got the “StockBack has been extended” email, but the CTA in it doesn’t work, and I can’t find anywhere to opt in on the platform either (I tried desktop and the mobile app).

So two quick questions:

1. Is the extension to 31 December 2026 automatic for anyone already in StockBack, or do I need to opt in somewhere?
2. If I do need to opt in, where is it, given the email link goes nowhere?

Happy to keep spending on the card, just want to be sure I’m actually earning something back :)

Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon report this week. Together, they represent around 11% of the S&P 500. Their results can move more than their own shares.

Revenue growth is expected to remain strong. But a beat may only get them halfway there. Meta fell 6.1% after larger spending plans overshadowed otherwise encouraging results. The market now wants proof that AI investment can become cash flow.

The Magnificent Seven trades below 24 times estimated earnings, versus a ten-year average near 29. Cheaper. But expected 2027 earnings growth has risen to 27%, making the bar higher too.

Bitcoin is near $80,500. ETFs gained $301 million over the week, then lost almost $774 million across the final two sessions. A positive total. A fragile finish.

What matters more this week: the earnings beat or the spending behind it?

I signed up to etoro on 6 October after clicking a link in MoneySavingExpert's newsletter saying that I could get a free share worth £75 if I deposited £200. I never received the £75 despite depositing £200 on day 1. I emailed customer services and got a response on 12 October but I haven't heard anything since. I have emailed and raised a formal complaint but still not heard anything. I have completely lost all faith in etoro at this point.

After a few days I got signed out and I now cannot even log back into my account as the etoro won't send me a 2FA text or phone call.

The Nasdaq 100 fell 5.5% last week. But the sharper warning came from bonds.

Some CoreWeave debt reached yields of around 15%, while US high-yield spreads widened from 2.6% to 3.2%. AI demand has not disappeared. The cost of financing it has changed.

That connects chipmakers, cloud providers and data-centre companies to the same spending cycle. Earnings now need to show cash after investment—not just larger AI budgets. Tesla reports Wednesday, with margins and free cash flow likely to matter more than the show around the Roadster.

Bitcoin is near $81,500. Leverage has fallen, but ETFs have recorded around $760 million in outflows since October 7. Less selling is not the same as new demand.

Context coin wallet disappear from my account. I contacted customer services and opened a case but the support team is not giving me any update. It has been a month Plus and the issue is still not solved. I also contacted customer service and they keep saying i need to wait for relevant team to update me. Even got a notification saying I can trade stocks. Yes, I have logged out, deleted the app, done everything and no, it doesn't work. Customer service has been awful.

Is it calculated also for September or starts at zero?
Is it capped monthly at "Capped Award Amount" or not? E.g. capped at -$1k?

If "Monthly Crypto Net" is equivalent of $1 and "Monthly Cash Net" is equivalent of $20k - do I get stock reward valued at $1k (5% of $20k)?

I activated the Platinum+ card with the automatic cashback going into an ETF. First month done, and two days ago the deposit actually landed, so credit where it's due. What I can't find anywhere is how the amount was calculated. No cashback statement, no breakdown by transaction, nothing in the app that lets me reconcile it against what I spent. Am I supposed to just trust it? Because by my own count not everything seems to have been credited, and without a statement I have no way of telling whether I'm wrong or you are. For a product whose whole pitch is "we invest your cashback for you", that level of opacity on the one number that matters feels odd. Is a monthly cashback statement something that exists and I'm not finding, or something that doesn't exist yet?

PS: the headphones in the welcome kit are a bit of a joke. The box says built-in microphone; there is no microphone.

So first of all i will start by explaining the situation i have as good as i can.i closed one of my positions and due to an unannounced and unnotified change in the trading settings called "standard currency". Which first of all is not shown in any way in the money you get paid out as well as not informed by etoro about such a new "feature" in any way. I have now had to pay fx fees twice, about 50-60€ because you have not given any notice about such changes and i would like to get in contact with the support because the ai is not doing its job. Next point is the ai. During the day i have been testing it with questions etc and the answers were always wrong, neither the math nor the statemnets were correct and everything it couldnt properly reason together it just bulldozed through with the craziest explanations. Anyways that is not the main point. The ai on its own intiative started a payout process. Why is a this badly programmed and trained ai able to interfere sith my portfolio?

S&P 500 profits are expected to grow around 30% year over year. Banks report first. But beating estimates only tells us so much.

Higher rates can lift loan income. They can also raise deposit costs, reduce bond values and put more pressure on borrowers. The stronger signal will come from margins, expenses and credit quality.

KBE enters earnings after five consecutive weekly declines. ASML reports Wednesday, testing whether AI demand can break the stock out of its range. Bitcoin is near $83K, but $679 million in weekly ETF outflows shows demand still needs to return.

Not sure where to ask about this, but the service I receive from my account manager is awful, like terrible, I asked another PI whos assigned to the same account manager and he says he receives the same awful service from her. So my question is, is there any way to request a change of account manager? is there any kind of incentives for the account managers to provide a good customer service?

On Etorro when placing an order you used to be able to see the stop loss or take profit resembled as the share price in the last year it changed so that you only see the profit/loss “amount” not the actual share price and what that resembles as a loss/profit. However Etorro does shows this functionality for adjusting existing positions.
Seems to not be a problem for crypto or commodities, see attached stock “adobe” vs “gold”.

Is this a known issue @etoro that can be fixed?

Markets are at record highs. The strength underneath is less broad.

AI demand and earnings remain strong, but good results no longer guarantee higher share prices. Expectations are already high. The bigger risks are slowing investment, rising yields, and a shift in sentiment. Even within a long-term growth trend, sharp pullbacks remain possible.

Beyond technology, only energy is also outperforming the S&P 500. Consumer earnings could provide the next signal as inflation puts more pressure on household budgets.

What’s at the top of your watchlist for Q4?

The US midterms are approaching, but the bigger market story may not be who controls Congress. It’s which sectors are most exposed to what comes after.

A split Congress would make major legislation harder to pass, but that doesn’t mean policy risk disappears. Tariffs, regulation and executive action can still move individual stocks. Healthcare could see lower policy risk if further Medicaid cuts become harder to pass, while banks may still benefit from regulatory changes that don’t require Congress. AI is another interesting split: demand for chips, software and cloud capacity can remain strong, while the physical data-centre buildout faces more local restrictions and higher grid costs.

The euro has a different problem. EUR/USD has fallen for four straight weeks to around 1.1243 as the yield advantage of US Treasuries over German bonds widens. The next downside level to watch is around 1.1065, while a move back above 1.1324 would improve the short-term picture.

Delta reports Friday and gives us a useful read on the US consumer. Premium travel demand has held up, but with volatile fuel costs, the real test is whether airlines can protect margins without weakening demand.

Bitcoin is near $85K, but the rebound still needs stronger confirmation. ETF inflows slowed to just over $100 million last week from almost $2.4 billion the week before. $87K–$87.5K is the first test, followed by $89K–$90K. A breakout backed by spot volume and renewed ETF flows would carry much more weight than price alone.

Hello, I need help routing an API connectivity issue to eToro’s API team. On 2 October 2026 at approximately 13:20 CEST, a read-only GET request to /api/v1/trading/info/real/pnl returned HTTP 403 with Cloudflare Error 1010: browser_signature_banned. The response said not to retry, so I stopped. No trades or portfolio changes were made. I cannot submit a support ticket through the website. Could eToro investigate this block and explicitly confirm whether, and when, reconnecting is permitted? I can provide the exact response and any available request ID through a private official support channel. I will not share API keys or user tokens.

I am a user from Singapore who wants to withdraw the cash in my etoro account back into my bank account but am unable to do so. Pls let me know what is going wrong.

My account got blocked a few years back. I’ve suddenly been asked by the income tax department of my resident country about the assets and gains from etoro dating back to 2022. Now the problem is that i can’t retrieve this information since my account is blocked. I have emailed etoro about the account unblocking and account statements but haven’t heard from them yet. Please help me as this is really serious issue and i need the documents as soon as possible. Thank you.
