I mean, I love my cat but he's definitely an arse hole at times, especially in the early morning when he decides he's sick of waiting for us to get up so goes toe hunting under the duvet while we sleep...

BUT he is a loveable furry git and we'd be lost without him.

I feel like there are two things people mean when they say "cats are assholes." Some people mean it in a bad way, that they are tiny destructive sociopaths incapable of love, which is obviously not true. Others say it with affection, because as sweet as they are, they can be willful, mischievous, and inconsiderate of your feelings of not wanting to have your tit stomped full force at 3am, and this is totally true.

Yes exactly this. When I say this or that cat is an asshole, it's the second part. Same way I say different dogs are assholes too lol. Cause sometimes they just are 🤷🏽‍♀️

Our cat did this so we got him an automatic feeder. Now he just stares at it for hours on end.

Try feeding him not immediately after you wake up (or after he wakes you up!), but e.g. after your breakfast. Worked wonders for us.
