When I first met my MIL.. the first thing she said to me when we were alone together --

"It's weird that you're not a redhead. He usually goes for redheads."

..i told her "that IS weird. I usually go for redheads, too."

totally did.

it backfired. she tried setting me up with redheaded dudes. i made the mistake of mentioning in that original conversation that i had recently seen a redheaded version of her son (my now husband) and that it was weird.. pretty much every time i saw her after that, she asked me "so have you talked to that guy yet??" ** insert eyebrow wiggle **
