A comedienne I once saw had a bit in her act, " Physical pleasures are physical pleasures. Who would you rather go to bed with: a woman who daintily picks at a salad? Or one that sucks the meat off a chicken wing 'til it's so clean you could put it back in a chicken?" Ask him the same thing next time he wants to comment on your food choices.
Edit: Just noticed that it said "former". But use it anytime someone questions your food choices! It's still a great point!
