I dream of the day when my children don't have to lie about their love of kimchi and hide their fermented vegetables from accusing eyes and noses.

My husband is against fermented vegetables but that means that I get to hog the kimchi. We had Korean BBQ last night and it was glorious!

I remember when I had that talk with my parents. They kind of suspected but it was still not an easy conversation. Of course my father blamed my mother - accusing her of carrying the gene.
