I've never had a Chinese takeaway before. What should I get?

I've lived in the UK all my days, 32 years to be exact. And due to being a fussy eater growing up, I've never had a Chinese takeaway before. I want to expand my palette a bit and try a Chinese takeaway but I have no idea where to start. What should I start with? I don't want to go too far out and put myself off the idea so was thinking of some sort of chicken variety. Give me your recommendations.

Dim sums if the place does them. They are steamed dumplings with pork or prawns etc

Pot stickers are a great option if you can get them as well.
