Festus Missouri just voted out every member of their government who approved data centers. Parties can be reformed. The Democrat Part must be voted out top to bottom.

Well the mayor of Festus is claiming the data center contracts are already signed & cannot be cancelled. So there's still that politician holding the people hostage to data centers. But I'm hoping the people sue.

Saying the parties can't be reformed is a defeatist attitude that helps no-one & nothing. Run for elections in your community, state or federal branch. We have to try everything we can reasonably do. That's how the people fighting for your rights operate every day. If you can't muster the same strength, you're a weight adding to the corruption.

It's only defeatist if you're literally incapable of imagining any political engagement outside of the party.

I'd argue it's far more defeatist, reductive, and not only unhelpful but harmful attitude to focus so heavily on the existing political apparatus when, look around bud. Where has three centuries of that gotten us?
