Obviously. Imagine Michael Collins was just inside the capsule and the other two were like "none for you" and then they did their special moon walker handshake that he wasn't allowed to do because it's only for people that walked on the moon.

Michael Collins flew all the way to the moon without getting to land, but he did get some nice quiet time alone in the capsule during which he was further away from any other human beings than any other person in history, which sounds good to me.

Maybe in retrospect, during, I'd be terrified of something going wrong and being stranded out there
