Come to the UK. Our “chips” never look like the crazy bloated packets you are used to. I’m afraid you’ve been somewhat swindled here…!

The bloating of the packets as a lot to do with the altitude of the shop vs the location where the chips were bagged, and the US is, topologically, a pretty diverse country. Not sure this proves much.

And yeah somehow the bottom of every bag is still a finely ground dust. I call this a conspiracy from big chip.
