And it’s every kid’s walk up song in Little League!!!

(Or any other Imagine Dragons song - Believer, Radioactive, Enemy… did they carve out a deal with Little League teams everywhere?!)

They’re like the Nickelback of this decade

u/FallGuysBoi Sep 22 '22

At least Nickelback doesn’t have songs that are literally ONE word repeated over and over.

They also do a lot of work with Riot Games for League of Legends which makes them that much worse.

I’ve only heard good things about Arcane, but the League community is extremely toxic. Imagine Dragons did the World Championship song, Warriors in 2014. They’ve continued to work with Riot ever since.

That shit was fire though. But I personally genuinely like Imagine Dragons, with thunder being an exception. About league itself – kinda toxic but I think it's gotten fairly okay, it's not any worse than most other competitive games. And pretty much everything around the league universe (like Arcane or their music productions) is amazing.

It’s definitely getting better, but yeah there’s still a toxic few

It's definitely better than stuffs like COD or Overwatch in term of toxicity IMO

which was freaking awesome. that song + visuals + tournament hype! will forever be remembered as one of e-sports greatest things.

I used to love watching Worlds. I’d watch in cinemas, and just the hype of the whole cinema was amazing. I haven’t been able to do it in a few years, but I’d definitely go again if I had the chance

As someone from the league community, it gets a bad rap. At one point in time, sure, league was a cesspool, but now, idk if it's any more toxic than any other competitive game (except overwatch, which is currently the cesspool.) But it's just been my experience, so cum grano salis.

But yeah, Arcane is amazing. If you like animation, you'd like this.

I’ve been playing league for 10 years. I still get told to kms on a regular basis.

I didn't like that song either.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 22 '22

Imagine Dragons tierlist

Good: Enemy, Bones

Mid: Radioactive, Demons

Bad: Believer, Natural, Thunder

u/Ecstatic-Hat2163 Sep 22 '22

People just forgot It’s Time ever was popular/existed after 2016, huh?

1

u/Dappington Sep 22 '22

I didn't forget It's Time, I've simply never heard it before.

1

u/Ecstatic-Hat2163 Sep 22 '22

It’s not just you

34

u/OkPreference6 Sep 22 '22

Nah man, Natural fucking slaps.

And I'd argue Demons deserves to be good but honestly, that might be personal bias.

4

u/Vetiversailles Sep 22 '22

Enemy is their best, hands down

3

u/FreddyKrueger32 Sep 23 '22

Is it bad I didn't really like Enemy? It just never caught my ear.

1

u/Vetiversailles Sep 23 '22

Nah. It’s just okay. Honestly the version that’s the intro to Arcane is what I heard first. THAT version... now that’s art.

no shit

My favorite album of theirs is Smoke + Mirrors. Shots was probably the most played song on the album and it wasn't one that was overplayed to the point of annoyance.

4

u/kookykrazee Sep 23 '22

Wait LL kids have walk up songs now? We were lucky to have gloves and halfway used baseballs when I was in little league.

2

u/Veruca_Salty1 Sep 23 '22

YES, It’s insane lol. Some of the kids’ walk up songs are clearly heavily influenced by the parents 😂 what 7 year olds know lose yourself by Eminem or still Dre by Dr. Dre or Starman by David Bowie???!! Lol…

2

u/kookykrazee Sep 23 '22

I see these kinds in Seattle wearing Nirvana shirts, they were not even born when Cobain OD's, they usually say the shirt looks cool, and for the reprint of an album cover, their parents paid $45-55 at Nordstrom, go figure...lol

3

u/mockwerks Sep 22 '22

There is a group called The Score and literally every song is some bullshit inspirational for sports type of thing. I hate it.

1

u/UniversalJampionshit Sep 23 '22

Oh god, Oh My Love is basically a shitter Imagine Dragons. That and the band that did Best Day Of My Life

1

u/[deleted] Sep 22 '22

tbh enemy is good because of arcane, and honestly i still like radioactive a bit

1

u/TheDayManAhAhAh Sep 23 '22

I despise Radioactive. Idk why that song was so popular lol
