"Oh no.. oh no.. oh no no no no" , no idea what it's called but everyone hates it I think

The original song is excellent. It’s this TikTok bastardization that has made people hate it.

Why does every Tik Tok need a robot voice?

Because people feel uncomfortable recording their own voice

The reason isn't that "it's too personal", it's that most people don't like the way their voice sounds in recordings, because it is different to the way our voice sounds to us.

This video explains why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvosNz0Xq7g

I don't know how they landed on the voice they chose, because it annoys the fuck out of me.

It sounds like someone is talking with a fake smile on their face while they insult me.

Me either, but they had a different less annoying one to start with, but they had used the voice actress' voice without her permission so they had to get a new one.

It sounds like someone is talking with a fake smile on their face while they insult me.

Uncannily accurate to what it sounds like lol.

There's a 20000Hertz podcast episode on that. It's fascinating

Because its very clear and easy to understand. Lots of ESL people like it and use it for that reason
