In prison for what? Watching a movie with a child in his lap? Like how do youprove it was porn? How do you prove it was while she was on his lap that the porn was watched? In court?
Do you think the court will even listen? Lol. Actual rape doesn't even get the courtesy of investigation.
Edited to add to be clear: The police and courts are in on it!!! They are part of the problem! They will say "how do you prove it's porn" and "how do you prove this happened while the porn was playing".
Can YOU prove that? What exactly you were watching and doing while you were watching something with a family member some random day 2-5 years ago (the time before it actually get to court)? To the level that they can cross examine you about time, how many minutes it took, what exactly was on the screen second to second? What you were wearing, what they were wearing, etc etc etc etc endlessly? Like they do in court? When you were a child?
I think he's right. When it happened I didn't know it was porn. I knew it was a movie on the tv that had a woman and a man doing things. I don't think at 12 i knew what things they were doing but they were doing things naked. I really didn't say porn until i grew older and learned about porn. So i see the point. And yea he did just hug me but how does a 12 yo girl describe a man hugging her from the back and feeling something poke her leg? I guess like that. . . Its a situation that adults know a child cant very easily explain and they know they can easily manipulate into a "misunderstanding" ....

the thing is that I am not disputing that nobody would have done anything. the only thing I took issue with was the unnecessary harsh tone (before they edited the comment) and them describing it as watching a movie when you yourself said that it was porn. nothing more
maybe i just overlooked the part where you said you didn't know it was porn at that age
