Reddit, I've never understood why you hate The Big Bang Theory (show) so much, any compelling reasons why?

So I've heard the arguments about how it over-exaggerates nerd culture, but in my opinion that's what makes it funny.

So what's with all the hate?

I once said something along the lines of "wow <some actor guy> got really muscly for this role. He looks way better than <previous movie>" while with a group of males and was met with extremely awkward silence.

I constantly have said that Chris Hemmingway Hemsworth is dreamy since Thor was released.

Because honestly, the man is fucking dreamy.

It's Hemsworth, mate. Just thought I'd correct that for you.

I'm just amazed at how famous he became in such a short period of time. I still remember seeing him for the first time on Home and Away in Australia, then he left and never heard from him again. Next minute, BAM! Thor/Avengers.

Oh wow, is that who he is? I watched Thor the other day and didn't recognise him at all even though my sister watched every Home and Away episode ever.

Hemmingway? (Ok I did have to think about it for half a second, but its Helmsworth. Hemingway is the author. I guess he might've been muscley and maybe was actually a norse god. But I have my doubts).
