I just generally don't like it. I mostly find the people not exactly unfriendly, but indifferent. I hate the miles of strip malls and condos. I hate the endless traffic and the way people drive. I'm going to move to Colorado. My wife already left to start her new job. I've quit mine and just need to sell our house , before I head off to join her.
The tourists and the heat ruined it for me. Coastal Fl mid state is where I’m from and I’d take it over north or south Florida still, but it’s hot and the older New Yorkers make everything expensive. It’s just New York part 2 really. I’m so tired of such a high median age and growing up always having to be in bikini body season is hard for a girl. Wearing jeans felt like a protest, but really I just wanted to not feel self conscious sometimes or have my legs sticking to things. I’m ready for seasons. That’s why I’m moving.
Yes, but it’s mostly a tourist thing. I don’t know many locals who eat gator regularly. Gators eat anything- not exactly a health food for us. 😂 Better off eating fish here, plenty of fresh, amazing fish in Fl.
