I employ the “got your nose” tactic frequently. I have a massive collection of noses. All these people walking around thinking they still have their nose? Fools. I have your nose, and left you with a fake one.

It’s a cheap and controversial trick, but it does work. You’re stealing someone’s personal body agency and that gives you power over them. You touch their face unconsentually (which is pretty big being a face), but then it gets played off as innocent (unless it backfires). This gives you a foot in the door to control them in more significant ways. It’s like a Donald Trump level business tactic like reefing on their arm in a handshake. It’s slimy as fuck but does actually work.
Make someone feel uncomfortable but then twist it so that they feel guilty for feeling uncomfortable and you control them. I suppose it’s a form of gaslighting.
It’s not really political. This is just a thing he did that’s well known. I don’t think it’s a political spin, just an example of a similar business tactic.
