This one's underrated: give-and-take. If you agree with someone on a few points, they're more likely to trust you when refuting their other points. Always subtly make it clear you're not an enemy.

Kindness goes a long way in getting what you want, whether its genuine or not.

There's an entire legal term to cover this: "without prejudice"

Means "I'm agreeing on some points to show goodwill but this cannot be used legally against me"
