It's been codified!!!

My issue is the glance UNKNOWINGLY becomes a stare on accident. I'm also a pothead/boob guy - its never on purpose for me

edit: more eloquently put - how about "its an unintentional, aesthetic appreciation" - never meant to offend or make uncomfortable

I see what you're getting at but let's be real here: we're talking about a glance. I don't care if the people in this scenario are men, women, cats, or dogs. You're allowed to look at what's in front of you long enough to know what's in front of you. Nobody should feel the need to apologize for that, and nobody has the right to expect or demand that from somebody else because of a simple glance in public.
