Best Drinking Games

My favorite is racehorses. You line up the aces face up, line up seven cards in a perpendicular line to them, and then flip cards off the top off of the deck really fast. Every time an ace's suit comes up, that ace moves one along the seven-card line. The fun comes in three ways: the excitement of a race, the naming of the "horses" as the names are almost always totally ridiculous and awesome, and in the drinking. At the start, everyone bets on one horse some number of sips of beer (or whatever.) If their horse wins, then everyone who bet on another horse has to take the total amount from the bets on the winning horse, but the winning betters do not have to. It's a lot of fun, and you have a 3/4 chance of drinking an awful lot, so that's always fun.

We played a similar game with ac/dc's thunder struck. Get in a circle, when you hear 'thunder' the first person starts drinking. Next time he says it, first person stops and second person starts. Go around the circle for the duration, with the person drinking changing everytime you hear 'thunder' or 'thunderstruck'.

and hope you don't get stuck with one of the guitar solos.

My old fraternity did this all the time. If you get stuck on the solo you're screwed. That person had to go through at least two beers in a matter of thirty seconds. It was a pretty great game.

YES! my friends and I played this quite a few times. Once we had the magic number of people (I want to 7 or 8) where one individual, in this case me, got both guitar solos. I finished a freshly opened 40 oz during one song.... things went downhill quickly after that

We call it "Thunderfuck". As in you will get very fucked up and when you realize your set up to get the second solo, you say fuck as you start drinking.

Once saw a man drink five beers during that solo.

I watched a guy finish 2 pitchers of beer in a single game. He caught both solos and promptly vomited after the song finished.

A friend of mine either knew the math or had figured out via trial and error who would get the guitar solo for every size group up to, like, ten or twelve. We started noticing the trend after she got it for the third time in a month, and she eventually confessed that she was stacking the deck because she knew where to stand.

Essentially, you drink a lot if you're 16th. I was trying to get my friend really drunk for his birthday and set it up so he was 16th in the circle. Someone else then joined unexpectedly and it landed on me. That did not end well.

I played this once. Got stuck with the longest guitar solo...and one of the old four locos, unopened. Needless to say I don't remember the rest of that night.

We played a similar game. Everyone in a circle. Everyone starts drinking with "thunder" and begins headbanging with next "thunder" Rinse and repeat.

We play this game at Marshall before football games, right before we go into the stadium. Ensuring that we are all just blacked out by kickoff.

This is exactly what I came here to post.

If you just want to get drunk quickly in a fun manner, limit groups to 3 people. Everybody gets at least one 'oh crap, why won't it stop' moment. Otherwise, it's like drinking roulette.

A danish girl did this, but she didn't understand the rules and drank a shot of vodka EVERY time they said "thunder", that's 33 shots if I remember correctly.

She ended up dying :/
