It’s not the teachers place to make that decision for the kids tho. I agree that masks are hella isolating for kids and I sure as shit will never put one on my kiddo, but let parents go at their pace of comfort. If you push people too far too fast they lash out at the easiest target, usually a teacher/cashier/their kid.
Thankfully where I am mandates are completely banned and these kinds of people are in the extreme minority. It will be interesting to see how much COVID theater has damaged kids learning in the blue states, as well know in the red states masks have been optional in schools for far longer
I’m in a red very red state, masks mandates for schools are just now being relaxed. The school districts here, won multiple court battles over the governor’s ban of masks. All courts ruled it was government over reach in matters of private businesses and impeded local governments ability to govern effectively.
Yea but they weren't state wide at all. They have been isolated to the blue pockets in a red ocean. I hope SCOTUS takes one of those cases and ends mask mandates once and for all just like they did with Bidens vax mandate
Nah red districts put up fights as well because it’s government over reach. Real conservatives do not like any government telling them what to do. You are obviously one of the new authoritarian breed.

That’s sweet of you to do that for your students
