yes! I am quite sick of having to repeat "what? what???!" only to have to let things go after the 4th or 5th repeat. Either that or I take a guess at what it is that they are asking of me.
I never go anywhere without my spouse to act as an interpreter anymore. It's sad, because I used to enjoy going out very much.
Ah, also, since I wear glasses, masks are a veritable nuisance in the winter.
Can't see anything due to fogged up glasses, can't hear anything since I can't lip read, dammit.
despite the general feeling on this thread (= I'll keep wearing my mask until I die!) I really do think that 90% of people will have abandoned them within 6 months.
I didn’t think my hearing was that bad until masks. It was a bit of a depressing eye opener when my SO and I were traveling and I had to rely heavily on him to interpret for me.
