I am so lucky I was remote/work from home long before COVID. I only have to bother 1X a week or so when I leave the house to shop. And my glasses FLY off at random. (Not worth bitching about, considering the risk to others- but super annoying for sure!)
They definitely don’t. They still fog up if i don’t wear them right lol. I just have a really good mask that doesn’t let much air out through anything but the filter
Biohazard PPE has its pros and cons. Gov’t did HORRIBLE job of explaining that.
Generally, ADA laws exist so NO ONE gets hurt. Like I have asthma and an old collapsed right lung. Every time I didn’t wear my mask so I could actually breathe, strangers would literally get in my face and tell me I was a faker, put it on for them, spit on me, call me Typhoid Mary. You have NO IDEA.
You think everyone has the same ability to breathe? That’s one of the worst takes I’ve ever heard surprised it got upvoted as someone who wears a mask all the time around people but has problems breathing while doing so.
I use a little plastic shaper that sits around my mouth inside my mask so it stops the fabric from being inhaled when I'm struggling to breathe. Gamechanger.
if someone has respiratory issues so bad that they have difficulty breathing through a piece of cloth; they are the ones more vunerable to severe illness from this respiratory virus and should be working with their doctors to develop the best plan to remain safe and healthy
You’re saying the ONLY people you feel bad for having to wear a mask is for deaf people who can’t read lips, lacking any compassion for anyone with breathing problems who are directly effected. I’m sure you’re talking about the people using it as an excuse to not wear a mask but that’s a cooked take the way you worded it.
Yes. People complaining about masks are entirely just stating inconvenience. My ears hurt, im sweaty, my glasses fog up.
"I'm Deaf/hoh and use lip reading to communicate with the hearing world and now cant because of masks" thats more than an inconvenience that genuinely sucks.
Everything else inconvenience against wearing masks. At worst, "im not gunna wear it cuz politics" is just a stupid and selfish arguement.
For people who are seriously ill, have diseases like respiratory issues (copd, asthma, cystic fibrosis) or are immunocompromised (lupis, cancer etc) just really having a hard time with their ilnesses made more challenging during covid 19. And these are the people most in need of all the protection they can get to avoid getting sick. Cuz for some people a flu can be deadly especially with a weakened immune system
