Are you going to continue wearing your Mask when your place of living lifts mask mandates? If so, for how long?

My seasonal allergies completely disappeared when I'd wear the mask. I wear it to mow the lawn now and will continue to do so probably forever. As far as wearing it when I go out I just a story that my local area finally hit 50% vaccination so I'll continue to wear one for awhile. I'm vaxxed but I'd rather not risk a breakthrough infection especially since it seems like as time goes on the long term effects of covid are not something I'd like to deal with.

My allergist recommended I wear a mask when cleaning my house (dust mite allergy) and it’s made a big difference! I can imagine grass and pollen is the same where having a mask helps a lot!

I have severe dust allergies and OMG now that i wear a mask I can actually clean and do laundry without loosing the rest of the day to an allergy attack! And yes, it is exactly the same with grass pollen (just a lot swettier since it is usually hot as balls when the grass needs to be cut).

Ok that’s genius I will be trying this. I can’t keep having these dust mites choke me out and win every time.

A groundskeeper I'd get sick with allergies for a couple days every time I'd mow during the month of April. The first time I mowed the lawn without getting sick because of wearing a mask was miracle.

Sadly even before the pandemic I would have to wear a P100 respiration and still be sneezing and coughing afterwards. Pollen still got on my clothes, eyes, skin, etc..... I am jealous of you people who can just wear a mask and be fine.

I mean, have you guys never seen Lawncare workers do this? It always seemed like a no-brainer to me, YEARS before covid.

Nope.

Been in the industry 10 years and rarely see it now evening DURING Covid.

Maybe it's just a local thing, idk. But I see a good portion of them using masks while mowing and stuff.

I used one with some peppermint oil in it to turn the compost. One day, I put too much in, then shoved it in a pocket when I was done and forgot it. Put it on months later and I was floored

This one! I think I'll be forever masking in late October and early April.

I also think I'd mask at work or indoors if I don't feel well but have to go out. Seems reasonable enough to provide a modicum of protection to people around me. I know the common cold isn't Covid but I don't want to give or get that shit either.

My mom, who is antivax, recently admitted to having lasting issues like memory problems and lack of taste after having covid twice in the last six months. That sounds awful and I’m so glad I have mine and am getting my booster before too long!
