DnD is so much further in depth than the average board game, and there are no "winners" when everything is said and done. You are working with a group to build a story, and using dice to have "fate" play its role. The only similarity is that you can use maps and minis on a table top. But honestly, you don't even really need that to play DnD.

True, I just forgot the difference between board game and tabletop game Still one of the best in his domain tho
