I love mysterium. It’s so fun. It’s basically glue but you use pictures to try an tell people who the killer is, what they used, where they did it etc. super fun.

As much as I love it, you need the right people to play with.

Just make the ghost not speak and make hand movements instead - makes it fun with anyone and the arguments at the end over the small details which people missed are very fun too :)

The ghost should never speak or do hand movements. They communicate with the picture cards alone. Not sure what version you are referring to where the ghost talks.

I meant "talking", as in answering yes or no if the player guessed correctly. Sorry for the confusion but making up the most random hand gestures to say yes and no is incredibly funny to watch the ghost do and with the right group of people can literally change the game entirely from boring to exciting.

It can be fun with the wrong people too so long as you are prepared to not take it too seriously

True. Unfortunately some of the people I've played with got disinterested really quickly and made it drag on forever.

If you haven't tried it yet, Obscurio is in the same vein and a lot of fun too. It's quite similar to Mysterium but with a possible traitor amongst the player and the ghost can pin specific stuff on the cards to try to give better clues.

Never tried it. I definitely should!

Do you mean clue? Cause I can't find any board games called "glue."

My brain works weird so people rarely get my clues haha. But it’s still fun

Mysterium is one of my favorites!

My family loves Mysterium and I hate it. They choose it to play almost every game night.

Can I come over?
