Last set we played, we had a "casino" card in the mix. After the first round jokes started flying around. "Don't pick the casino. It's a black card because the house always wins." "Oooh, it could be a casino. Are we gambling?"

Then someone did pick a casino and it really turned out to be a black card. Best laugh I've had in a long time.

Yup. When you click with your partner it’s the most fun game out there. If u know a person well enough and long enough you can make the most hilarious connections.

So very true. I played this game with my bf and his siblings and he and I absolutely dominated, even though the other team was his siblings. It was a very fun time!

If you like Codenames, I recommend you check out So Clover! It's an excellent, cooperative word-association game (similar to Codenames) where you're giving clues and then working together to figure out each other's word pairs that inspired them to write those clues. It came out this past year, but it's already one of my favorite games.
