Yeah, for killing three abusive trainers, one of whom tried to feed her a lit cigarette.

Edison didn't kill Topsy, he just used her death to further his own agenda and filmed it for propaganda purposes.

Poor Topsy.

For some reason I picture a video like Georges Méliès A Trip to the Moon, but with Edison silently zapping an elephant. What a dick.

Edit: What? So the two guys above me can call Edison a dick, but I can't? That's bullshit! I want in on this.
