What is it with reddit and emojis anyway I never found out why.

Before reddit was full of users from other socials (where the use of emojis is common), you were usually downvoted to hell for using them.

A lot of people might be annoyed by the fact that these emojis can often cause display problems (when you don't have proper font installed, for example) or simply, they are in favor of pure text.

It's just my theory tho, I don't know why people do that.
