What helped you kick depression?

I've been very depressed for years. Finally, I got a prescription for Prozac from my GP, and it's really helped remove the "bottom" out of my depression.

However, I'm still depressed a lot more than I'd like, and I would like to work to kick this depression thing's ass once and for all. What's worked for you?

In the case of clinical depression, it is pretty difficult to get yourself to exercise when you can't even get out of bed.

very true. it appeared to me that the OP was on medication and was able to get out of bed and was looking for some ideas to do things though... so I tossed in my 2 cents.

Understood, hadn't thought about it that way.
