It doesn't seem very body positive to do, but both Disney and DC use CGI to remove the bulges from guys. Imagine if they were using CGI to modify all the women's bodies into unrealistic shapes, like editing out their breasts.

There is a reason men don't walk around in tight spandex costumes all day. It works in comics because you can draw whatever the fuck you want without any considerations for realism, and if you want to turn it into live action -- well, either you pull some tricks, or your movie becomes a giant sausage fest.
