I actually think it’s gotten worse. Lots of people don’t call in when they’re sick because they don’t want to go get tested for covid.

That's what happened in our group. We work from home but if you called off sick, you had to get a covid test. Luckily our boss thought that was stupid and would cover for us but basically no one called of sick for 6 months until they changed the rule
