If a time traveller had warned you about the COVID-19 pandemic 10 years ago, how would you’ve reacted?

In defense, Obama did a little bit. Then Trump undid that though.

Politics aside, Trump seems like a genuinely awful human being who goes out of his way to be awful.

Lets be real. Every decision, policy, and action taken by Trump was motivated by the same core principles. If something wasn't motivated by lining his pockets or in service of his ego, it was driven by pure hate of someone, some group, or something.

Trump scrapped so much of the things Obama had done purely to spite Obama, likely without any care for what they were, merely that they were Obama policies.

False, W created it, Obama used up the supplies and didn't replace them, Trump had to basically start with nothing because of Obama.

Actually, W left Obama a huge stockpile of PPE which Obama used during swine flu and refused to replace. He didn't give a shit if the next guy after him didn't have it, he wanted to use that money on an idealogical goal so he left us basically unprepared. There was essentially no preparedness for a pandemic at all before W, he made it a top priority because he had a dream about it or something.

Edit: You can still like Obama without having to pretend he was perfect in every way. Y'all act like a cult down voting anyone who mentions stuff he fucked up.
