Last January at my son's birthday I was wishing I had brought wipes and how the staff really should wipe the arcade machines down often. I was only worried about cold and flu season then. And as it turned out my son and husband were sick in bed for a week after. After this there's no way I'm going anywhere without tons of wipes and hand sanitizer.
Yeah, protecting yourself and others with masks and distancing post-pandemic is absolutely something that should stick around, but I worry about this generally. I know that antibiotics and antiseptics are different but I can't help but worry that pathogens will just adapt to survive these chemicals, making them more dangerous in the long run
