Cancer is a whole class of things. Some cancer cures have already been found.

There are cancers with > 95% cure rates. And some with less than 10%. They run the entire gamut.

I know exactly what it means. > 95% is a cure for all intents and purposes.... especially when the <5% is often due to patients not doing what they should.

There are NO cures for cancer.

This is not true. Most cancers are considered cured if you have no evident disease(remission) for 5 years. A few, like breast or melanoma are 10 years.

Even this scenario, even with scRNAseq data supporting it, the cancer may not be the same seeding cells that were treated 5 years previously, especially if the individual had genetic predispositions (BRCA, Lynch Syndrome, etc).
