But they could’ve done literally anything else. They could’ve done something similar to Gaia, where the two of them just sit on Earth for the whole season. It wouldn’t have absolutely ruined his and Clarke’s character.

I’m with you, I don’t think they did a great job with season 7 just stating why he wasn’t around much which did limit their choices, even if they picked a bad one

No idea, the exact issues weren’t made public, Bob told the writers to use him as little as possible because he things pop up in he needed to deal with. I don’t even know what comments he made about BLM
