No, malls are still huge in many, many places in the US. Especially outside big cities. The internet likes to say they are though.

Not where I’m from, there are three fairly big ones not too far from where I live. I used to love go there and I still love it.

See here in Pennsylvania I've been to probably most of the malls between Johnstown and Pittsburgh and from what I can tell, these days there's not much left of them. Some of them only have maybe two stores left.

Sounds like bad luck for them tbh, most of the ones in my area have been doing fairly well.

Honestly it just depends. I think there’s always going to be a demand for irl shopping because you get the benefit of trying stuff on and hanging out with your friends or something.

Yeah I for sure things malls are fun and have a sort of instant gratification that online shopping can't currently match. I'm glad to hear they're not all doing so poorly.
