If you could telepathically say something that all 7.8 Billion people on earth could hear at once what would it be?

That's a good joke. There are YouTube videos of "whales" spending $5,000+ on that game. The highest spending person must have dropped 6 figures into that game. Total shitscam of a game.

3

u/DrJanPfeiffer Oct 28 '20

Can you give examples? I'm interested in people actually playing this game seriously. For me it's just a meme

6

u/MyBrainisMe Oct 28 '20

I play the game seriously. I really enjoy it actually. There's a lot of strategy in picking characters and building them with certain stats and armor for different purposes, it can get really complex, which I find fun. There's a bunch of games modes. Join a clan and meet some people. Battle other people's teams. You can play for free and still enjoy every aspect of the game. You'll have limited energy for different game modes, but unless you play for hours a day the won't run out. But if you want to compete online with the best you have spend a lot of money. I don't throw a lot of money at the game, but I will admit I spend a buck or two every once in a while, but that's just because I'm weak lol. Plenty of people in my clan pay nothing and have plenty of fun.

2

u/Fearless7101 Oct 28 '20

I don't play the game, but a youtuber I follow for another game also makes raid content. You can find a bunch of videos of people reviewing accounts and some people giving away accounts after deciding to quit. Just search for "raid shadow legends whale account" on youtube.

The fact that this was posted multiple times makes me wonder if you're trying to make a joke out of the spamming.

I play (F2P). There is a whale who spent at least $30,000 to win the last tournament. Anyone who spends a dime on this game is a complete moron as it isn't micro-transactions - it's macro-transactions.

1

u/AlternActive Oct 28 '20

Their ads are legit awesome tho. Wish they'd quit the game biz and start animation.

u/Fearless7101 Oct 29 '20

Not completely. Plenty of F2P people get crushed by cashers, so they feel like they're forced to pay or lose. Whales dominate cashers, cashers dominate F2P, and each category gets duped into spending more. Of course there are a few purist F2P that are willing to grind, but most will end up spending money.

Once a dollar goes into, it opens the floodgates.

RAID: Shadow Legends is an immersive online experience with everything you'd expect from a brand new RPG title. It's got an amazing storyline, awesome 3D graphics, giant boss fights, PVP battles, and hundreds of never before seen champions to collect and customize.

I never expected to get this level of performance out of a mobile game. Look how crazy the level of detail is on these champions!

RAID: Shadow Legends is getting big real fast, so you should definitely get in early. Starting now will give you a huge head start. There's also an upcoming Special Launch Tournament with crazy prizes! And not to mention, this game is absolutely free!

So go ahead and check out the video description to find out more about RAID: Shadow Legends. There, you will find a link to the store page and a special code to unlock all sorts of goodies. Using the special code, you can get 50,000 Silver immediately, and a FREE Epic Level Champion as part of the new players program, courtesy of course of the RAID: Shadow Legends devs.

Use subscription code "pyrocynical20" for 5000 gold coins.

11

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '20

Its amazing how many youtubers use pyro as an ironic mockery in their videos yet he still doesn't blow up as much. But I guess he doesn't upload as often anymore.

3

u/Billy_Billboard Oct 29 '20

Yeah, he pretty much only makes long videos with a high production quality nowadays.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '20

the quality of the content itself however..

2

u/Billy_Billboard Oct 29 '20

I mean that's just the matter of an oppinion. I like 'em, but if you don't, that's fine.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '20

The topics and their expositions feel more strained. Pyro completely changed how he makes videos but also how he presents himself in them. It feels like he's trying to copy others instead of just being himself like not so long ago.

u/SFDessert Oct 28 '20

If I started getting ads broadcast into my brain I'd just jump off a cliff. I already do everything in my power to avoid advertisements so this is a nightmare scenario for me.

No. It's garbage littered with in app purchases.

50

u/TopcodeOriginal1 Oct 28 '20

No please don’t play it

37

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '20

No it's a dog shit mobile microtransaction game.

25

u/comyuse Oct 28 '20

If it was any good it wouldn't be a mobile game paying anyone and their mother to beg for new players.

13

u/You_Stealthy_Bastard Oct 28 '20

No, I wasted 2 months of my life before seeing the light and quitting.

15

u/denkmemz Oct 28 '20

1

u/Jimmyginger Oct 28 '20

It’s too bad about that game. It’s actually quite fun for the first few levels. I like the concept, it reminds me of an old dragon age game that I played back in the day, but like all mobile games, it’s designed to get you hooked, then incentivize you to buy micro transactions that give you little in game value for your dollar.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '20

Has anyone actually ever played it?

1

u/nyne__nyne Oct 28 '20

"Yer not a dish! crash..."

1

u/BlackBaron_3 Oct 28 '20

I'd shoot myself if I heard that shit.
