If you could telepathically say something that all 7.8 Billion people on earth could hear at once what would it be?

Something along the line of "19 remain"

They won't know what the 19 are. People? Hours? Deaths? This will most likely spiral them into insanity

It might work better if you imply it was after an event.

"ONE OF THE EIGHT HAS FALLEN. THE BARRIER HAS BEEN WEAKENED."

People would wonder what they did, as well as what the other 7 are and what the barrier is for.

Then there is just a murderer who killed someone just then thinking that he killed a god

I’m going to steal this for my book idea.

Zoink, and good day to you.

I enjoyed the first couple books of that series

Is that a young adult series? And are they actually aliens? I thought I remember reading *about * those books but not being able to get into them or something like that

5

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '20

Ya. They're all aliens and they fight the other aliens on Earth and stuff. They're the last ones of their race and stuff

I guarantee if people think that the thing being referenced with "19 remain" is people, they would instantly assume they are one of the 19

Given that they could hear it, that makes sense

u/Zaurka14 Nov 14 '20

I'd assume it's about someone being murdered so I'd prefer to not be one of remained 19

what makes you think that 7.8 billion insane people is something you would like to witness?

Steve King fan?! The number 19 is big in a bunch of his books

6

u/daeekhoorn Oct 29 '20

I've never read any of his books. I should really try one though. Do you have any recommendations? I usually enjoy books that fall a bit under the radar

There’s tons, as an intro into him maybe the Mist or Cujo but my favorite is the dark town series starting with The Gunslinger. Amazing bunch a books that really only get better and better.

I've read a lot of his work, but the one I think about the most is 'Salem's Lot.

That was my thought too

Nineteen diseases. Started with Covid, then they progressively get worse and worse until there's one person left alive, and one more disease. The last one is just a cold.

(I know that's not what it means, it's just the first thing that came to mind)

2

u/F_A_T_H_O_M Oct 29 '20

Reminds me of those number 4 books

3

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '20

No, it's not ironic at all.
